We are proud to say that our website is nearly a full year active. In January 21th, 2009 we launched this new website. We needed more functionality and interaction for our visitors. So instead of using static pages we moved to a Blog, so people can write comments on the articles we made. Tonight is the night that our moon (our natural satellite), will be vanished. The eclipse will be visible across North America. The eclipse begins at 1:33 am. It will be best viewed on 3:17 am according to the people of NASA. Today is also the shortest day of the year, known as the winter solstice. The winter officially begins on December 21.

A Lunar Eclipse (Moon Eclipse) is not the same as a Solar Eclipse. By a Lunar Eclipse the moon will take a variety of red colors when the Earth stands between the exactly aligned path of the Sun and the Moon. So the Earth will block the Sun's Rays from striking when the Moon passes behind the Earth.

The last total Lunar Eclipse was in August 16 2008. Partial Lunar Eclipses come more frequently. The last one was in June the 26th, 2010.

VGA 2010 (The Video Game Awards 2010)

Saturday December 11 2010 (8PM ET - 5 PM PT) - A new edition of the Video Game Awards (VGA) will be presented live by Neil Patrick Harris (dominated twice for the Emmy Awards). This is the day that video games are aiming an award for best video game of the year.

Some of the nominees are: Red Dead Redemption, Mass Effect 2, Halo: Reach, God Of War III and of course Call Of Duty: Black Ops.

Top Gear Season 16 uitgesteld tot in het voorjaar van 2011

In een eerdere post hadden we het al over het 16de seizoen van Top Gear die in 2010 zou starten 2 weken voor Kerstmis. Maar deze datum is uitgesteld tot in het voorjaar van 2011. Dit merkten we op in het Top Gear magazine van september 2010. De grootste reden voor deze vertraging is dat de BBC crew op zoek moest naar een nieuwe Stig. Maar geen paniek, ze vonden een nieuwe Stig.

Top Gear Season 16 delayed and will start in early 2011

In an earlyer post we wrote that Season 16 of the famous Top Gear would start around 2 weeks before Christmas 2010. Now we know that the 16th season is delayed till early 2011. Seen in the Top Gear magazine of September 2010. The reason that Top Gear's Season 16 is delayed is mostly because of the loss of the white Stig. But no panic they found a new one. The first episode came on Christmas. The second episode of Season 16 is scheduled for 23 January 2011, according to some rumors.

This science fiction movie goes about, strange lights descend on the city of Los Angeles, drawing people outside like moths to a flame where an extraterrestrial force threatens to swallow the entire human population off the face of the earth.

Tuesday November 4th 2010 - Lil Wayne (Dwayne Carter) is released from prison this morning. He got free after a year in prison. He stayed in Rikers Island Jail (New York City) for one year. Weezy was pleaded guilty to attempted criminal possession of a weapon last year after his tour bus was stopped where policeman found a gun in 2007.

We hope he will soon restart making new music. A year to write new songs has to be enough for new fresh songs don't you think Weezy? We look forward to it already!

When will Top Gear Season 16 start? Will it be in 2010, or do we have to wait until 2011?

The crew of BBC's most popular auto show 'Top Gear' has just ended the 15th season. Now it's just waiting for the 16th season to start. Some say it will be around 2 weeks before Christmas 2010. So the first episode of the new serie will start on December the 12th of 2010 on the BBC. And will be presented as usual by Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond en James May. Some questions that are rising: are there any changes in the concept, will the Stig be unmasked and what new cars will they driving, testing and reviewing?

Beurscrash september 2010? Wordt 1 euro 0,80 cent waard? Wat zijn de verwachtingen voor aandelen in 2010? Zal goud zijn maximum waarde bereiken en uiteenspatten als een luchtbel zoals de aandelen in 2008 deden?

Er wordt dezer dagen gespeculeerd dat er binnenkort terug een beurscrash zal plaatsvinden. Deze crash wordt verwacht begin september 2010. Dit zou komen door de hoge goudprijs die waarschijnlijk bijna aan zijn maximum zit. De vraag is wat er eerst zal crashen, de waarde van het goud of de aandelen. Er doen ook geruchten de ronde dat de euro maar 0,80 Amerikaanse dollar meer waard zal zijn. Dit volgens Peter De Groote die het volgende bericht Twitterde: Net terug van conferentie met Han De Jong, hoofdeconoom ABN AMRO. Blijft een positivo, maar ziet nu de euro wel naar 80 cent gaan. Maar zoals we allen tot nu toe weten is dat het iets minder gaat op de Amerikaanse markt. En dat maakt de Dollar iets zwakker dan de Euro die terug terrein aan het winnen is.

De koers van de Euro is er de voorbije maanden bijna uitsluitend op vooruit gegaan. Dan kan u zich gaan afvragen wat er nu juist allemaal waar is van wat de media ons allemaal laat geloven, laat staan de getwitterde berichten van top economen. Het beste is om zelf een oordeel te vellen en u niet te laten leiden door al deze geruchten. Probeer de cijfers en zaken dus nuchter te bekijken want er zijn wel duidelijk koopjes te doen op de aandelenmarkt. Het is enkel een kwestie van tijd tot de economie terug volledig op gang is getrokken. En dan is het te laat om nog aandelen te kopen want net na de Griekse tegenslag was het de moeite waard om aandelen te kopen die bijna even laag stonden als in de grote financiële crisis van 2009. Het zal dus niet meer lang duren of deze lage aandelen zullen zich gaan herstellen. Wij verwachten dat de economische en financiële markt terug stabiel zal worden na de zomer van 2010, laten we zegen tegen december 2010 om het voorzichtig uit te drukken. Als er geen narigheden meer boven komen natuurlijk zoals die van de Griekse schulden. En dat is het hem nu juist. De Amerikaanse economie is aan het kwakkelen dus ook de Amerikaanse aandelen. Roubini sprak donderdag 26 augustus van een dubbele dip. Deze kans werd door hem geschat op 40%. Dit door het aflopen van de stimuleringsmaatregelen (vooral dan voor de Amerikaanse economie). De Amerikaanse economie sleurt zo, weliswaar ongewild, de Europese beurzen mee het rood in. Het trage herstel van de Europese beurzen waarvan men deze zomer van sprak zou wel eens op een tweede beurscrash kunnen afsteven als men niet hou iets doet om de economie te stimuleren zonder daarbij de banken te helpen want deze moeten het nu redden zonder de internationale steun. De stress-test van een eindje geleden toonde aan dat enkel nog een paar banken uit Spanje en Griekenland last hebben van schulden. De andere Europese banken doen het dus terug goed. En dit is dan weer een positieve noot in een sombere toekomst vol ups en downs. Wie weet wat 2010 ons nog zal brengen op financieel vlak?

Maandag 4 oktober 2010, een aankondiging van een terreuraanslag in Europa en de beurzen zijn weer flink de dieperik in gedoken.

De onderhandelingen zijn nog volop bezig met het vormen van de coalities binnen onze Vlaamse en Waalse regeringen. De stoelen zijn ondertussen al verdeeld.
