A Lunar Eclipse (Moon Eclipse) is not the same as a Solar Eclipse. By a Lunar Eclipse the moon will take a variety of red colors when the Earth stands between the exactly aligned path of the Sun and the Moon. So the Earth will block the Sun's Rays from striking when the Moon passes behind the Earth.
The last total Lunar Eclipse was in August 16 2008. Partial Lunar Eclipses come more frequently. The last one was in June the 26th, 2010.

In een eerdere post hadden we het al over het 16de seizoen van Top Gear die in 2010 zou starten 2 weken voor Kerstmis. Maar deze datum is uitgesteld tot in het voorjaar van 2011. Dit merkten we op in het Top Gear magazine van september 2010. De grootste reden voor deze vertraging is dat de BBC crew op zoek moest naar een nieuwe Stig. It's made for working with internet based applications that can be accessed through the internet. After you log in, you almost immediately jump in Google's Chrome internet browser.
Chromium will only work on SSD, Solid State Drives like USB-Flash Disks and SD-Cards, it will not support hard-disk drives, for so far we know. Chromium will boot very fast partly because Solid State Drives are faster. In the future mini-laptops will be only available on SSD. The advantages of this are: less power needed and less moving parts that can break.
Google also dropped unnecessary services. So it's loading faster. After 2 seconds you get a login splash screen, type in your Google account name and password and you're set off.

Why not warming up in the morning from 15 to 20 degrees and during the day leave it at 17 degrees, the energy wasted is minimal when you need 20 degrees in the evening. Less energy is asked when you put the heater from 17 degrees to 20 degrees. Warming up 3 degrees higher is peanuts compared to 10 degrees more. '
- Connect devices without a switch (such as petty theft, electric toothbrush) to switch sockets to avoid sleep.
- Defrost your refrigerator and freezer regularly.
- Replace your traditional incandescent bulbs by energy saving bulbs.
- Do not use old freezer, the old generation freezers absorb to much energy.
- Choose the right program for your dishwasher, washer and dryer, some new devices can be 'eco' programmed.
- Choose appliances with an A-label.
- If a battery charger, remove it from the socket when the battery power, this is much better for the rechargeable battery itself and the service life of the battery will be longer.
- Shut down every device that contents a standby LED before you go to sleep.

Demolition of a factory tower in Ohio goes wrong
Nov 12th 2010 - Springfield, in the state Ohio. The demolition of a factory chimney tower has severely gone wrong. The chimney of 83 meters high sat down in the wrong direction. The Colossus destroyed a building and hit an electricity cable that provide electricity to 4,000 households. The cause of the blunder was due to a crack in the chimney. The experts didn't saw this crack in the chimney.

11 november, Wapenstilstand en herdenking einde Eerste Wereldoorlog (WOI)
11 november van het jaar 1918, is de dag dat de Duitse troepen zich overgaven aan de Belgische troepen. Deze dag noemen het ook wel eens 'wapenstilstandsdag'. We herdenken hierbij meer dan honderdduizend gesneuvelde soldaten van meer dan 25 verschillende nationaliteiten die vochten en sneuvelden in deze bloederige oorlog die plaats vond in België, voornamelijk in de Westhoek en rondom Ieper. Vandaag herdenken we deze feestdag door tal van activiteiten en bezichtigingen in de Westhoek die te maken hebben met deze gruwelijke oorlog. Er is onder meer de Last Post, die wordt bijgewoond door de oud-strijders, een 11 november lezing, een hulde aan het graf van de onbekende soldaat, het bezichtigen van Engelse begraafplaatsen in Zonnebeke en tal van andere activiteiten.

More than fifty people didn't survived the night, charred bodies were found after the heat cloud passed the villages. The number of victims will certainly increase. Since Oct. 26 has Merapi claimed for more than 100 victims.
A heat cloud pulled last night in all silence about the village near Merapi volcano. The Indonesian volcano has been active for more than a week and is one of the most dangerous volcanoes in the world. Emergency services took body's away one after the other. They lived in a group of houses in Argomulyo. Other parts of the village are still too hot to be rescued. The cloud took up to areas more than 18 km (11 miles) away from the volcano.
