De smurfen nemen je mee op avontuur en tonen in deze 3D film hun geschiedenis in plaatsen zoals het oude Egypte om uiteindelijk te eindigen in de moderne stad New York City. In 2011 komen deze cartoons dus terug tot leven. Houd u dus maar vast want iedereen zal in 2011 gesmurfd worden.
